About Fifty Rooms

Fifty Rooms started with a simple thought: the lamp in the corner deserves as much personality as the rest of the room.

We love the shapes and prints of the 1950s and 60s — atomic stars, Scandinavian folk flowers, cheerful dachshunds, black cats with a bit of attitude. The kind of patterns you'd spot on a vintage tablecloth at a Sunday flea market. We draw our own designs in that spirit and put them on everyday pieces for the home: tripod and arc floor lamps, table lamps, replacement shades and more.

The name is a nod to the fifties, where most of our ideas come from, and to the rooms people actually live in — living rooms, bedrooms, reading corners, the spot by the window where the light is just right.

Every piece is printed when you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for you. And because our shades come off, a lamp can change with the season: a Christmas print in December, tulips in spring.

We're a small team, and we read every message. If you have a question, write to us through the contact form.
